Great piece per usual, however, I am going to push back a bit on the Arteta part. As a long time paid subscriber I remember you wrote diff articles being confused about Arteta tactically and “he was more Moyes than pep” at some point. Arsenal didn’t look anything like this until halfway into the 21/22 season (a full 2 years after). 100% agree that ETH doesn’t have any clear patterns in possession especially this season.

I think with the ball he was always trying to do what the team is doing now, but less well. Though fair point, it did change without the ball.
