Hi, everyone. The Grace on Football newsletter has been running since June now, and it feels like it’s going pretty well, doesn’t it? We looked at how Liverpool evolved from a vantage point of Burnley away, examined Arsenal and Chelsea’s managerial projects, and wondered just how much Europe’s biggest clubs are safe in their positions. If you’re wondering about the big promised Pep Guardiola article, it’s coming very very soon! I’ve been enjoying writing these, and more importantly, it sounds like plenty of you are enjoying reading them.
But I can do more. Which is why I have an announcement:
The Grace on Football newsletter is expanding to a paid tier.
Allow me to explain
Will there still be freebies?
Now, the good news is I’ll be continuing to publish a free newsletter alongside the paid edition. The plan right now is to release a paid newsletter every Tuesday along with a free article on Fridays. So you’ll still be getting something for nothing. But if you want to read some of my bigger, bolder, more adventurous thoughts, that’s going to be on the paid side.
How much will it cost?
I’m charging at £5 a month, or you can get a year’s subscription at £50, which obviously works out cheaper in the long run. But you get the same level of content with either. Since I know plenty of people reading this live outside the UK, here’s what roughly works out to in some other currencies (as of writing this, exchange rates obviously fluctuate):
Euro: €5.50 per month/€55 per year
US Dollar: €6.40 per month/€64 per year
Canadian Dollar: €8.50 per month/€85 per year
Indian Rupee: Rs. 470 per month/Rs. 4700 per year
Brazilian Real: R$35 per month/R$350 per year
Australian Dollar: $9 per month/$90 per year
If you’re from a country that uses a different currency, I love you, but I’m going to have to trust you to google it.
There’s also the Founding Member option if you’re ever so kind in your heart and wish to pay more than the list price. I will never hustle for people to do this, but anyone who does is nonetheless greatly appreciated. This is a one person project and I’m not exactly getting a lot of other income right now, so I am deeply thankful for any support.
When do paid newsletters start?
The first is set to come out a week on Tuesday, the 6th October, so get subscribing if you don’t want to miss it!
Will the Pep Guardiola article still be free?
Yes! That’s coming very soon and free for everyone. Though in the future, any bigger projects I do like that will be on the paid side.
I have another question you didn’t answer.
Feel free to email me, or hit me up on Twitter @GraceOnFootball.
Hope to see plenty of you on the paid side soon!
